Following the completion of the Free Holiday Coaching Programme organised by the May-Five Foundation, the founder, Hon. (Barr.) Solomon Oluwaseyi Osho, has rewarded outstanding pupils and support to senior students preparing for tertiary education.

Nationalreports gathered that the holiday coaching, which ran from August 11 to September 4 at Ode-Remo High School, Ode-Remo, was facilitated by about 16 volunteer teachers and administrators

To ensure maximum participation, Hon. Osho, who represent Remo-North State Constituency in the 9th Assembly and the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate in the last Remo Federal Constituency bye-election provided a free school bus that conveyed students daily from five different towns to the venue.

At the closing ceremony, the best pupils across JSS1 to SS3 were honoured with special gifts, certificates, and public recognition.

Also, all SS3 students were given free UTME/JAMB forms to aid their entry into higher institutions.

Hon. Osho explained that the initiative is aimed at bridging academic gaps during the long vacation and empowering young people with knowledge, mentorship, and career guidance.

In an appreciation message, the May-Five Foundation, coordinator, Mr. Awonusi Kehinde Oluwadamilare commended the volunteer teachers for their sacrifice and impact, saying that beyond teaching, the volunteers inspired and mentored students.

“Your unwavering commitment and passion for impacting lives have not gone unnoticed. You didn’t just teach, you inspired, mentored, and made a lasting difference in the lives of our students,” he said.
