Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has claimed that President Bola Tinubu is scared of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Amaechi made the claim in a video making the rounds on social media.

The ADC chieftain, who has signalled his interest to run for President in 2027, said the APC led government is now in panic mode as they are running helter skelter, distracting Nigerians.

He questioned the achievements of the incumbent government since it took over power, adding that it can only make noise about the Lagos-Calabar coastal road.

He mentioned that at the time he was Minister of Transport under Buhari, he carried out some projects which are still being used by Nigerians, but that the government of the day cannot point to any project asides ‘’stealing money”

The former minister said, ‘‘I thought the President said they were popular. What they are doing is panic measures. They are scared. If you are not scared, lets meet on the field. Let the people choose who they want to choose. What they are doing is that they are trying to force politicians on the people.

“If you want to vote for APC, the question you ask yourself is what have they done? The noise was Lagos-Calabar coastal road. Where is the road? I was Minister for Transport. I can show you evidence of what I have done. Itakpe-Warri train is there. Lagos-Ibadan, they are using it. Kano-Kaduna under construction before we left, Kaduna-Abuja. Those were things we did under Buhari. The Lekki deep sea port.

“Let this government show one thing they have done, either in the north or in the south, apart from stealing money’’
