An aspirant for the Ogun State House of Assembly in Yewa North State Constituency (I), Hon. Amb. Oladayo Aina has congratulated Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer in the state.
In a statement made available to journalists, Ola Aina described Yayi’s emergence through a peaceful consensus process as a reflection of the unity and maturity within the party in Ogun State.
He commended the leadership of the APC, as well as past governors in the state, for prioritizing harmony and collective interest, noting that their roles were instrumental in ensuring a smooth and rancor-free process.
The aspirant also hailed the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, for his exemplary leadership and commitment to sustaining peace and cohesion within the party.
According to him, the Governor’s guidance and statesmanship played a crucial role in achieving the widely accepted consensus.
Ola Aina also expressed confidence in the candidacy of Senator Adeola, describing him as a seasoned politician with the experience and capacity to deliver meaningful development to the people.
He called on party members and residents across the state to rally support for Yayi in the interest of continuity and progress.
While pledging his loyalty to the party, Ola Aina also reaffirmed his ambition to represent the people of Yewa North State Constituency (I) at the Ogun State House of Assembly He noted that his aspiration is driven by a genuine desire to serve, empower the youth, and attract development to his constituency.
“I remain committed to the ideals of our great party and to the progress of our people. Together, we will work to ensure victory for all APC candidates while also advancing the collective interest of Yewa North,” he stated.
He therefore reassured constituents of his readiness to provide purposeful representation if given the mandate, emphasizing that his focus would be on inclusive growth, education, and grassroots development.
