Abeokuta North 2027: ENI AFẸ LAMO Declares, Promises Inclusive Representation

A frontline aspirant for the House of Assembly in Abeokuta North, Hon. Durojaiye Damilola Uthman, popularly known as ENI AFẸ LAMO, has formally declared his intention to contest the Assembly seat under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State.

The aspirant made the declaration on Wednesday at the Gbágùrá Ward 6, which attracted a large turnout of party faithful, community leaders, youths, and women, who gathered to witness the event and express their support.
While speaking at the gathering, the young and vibrant aspirant reaffirmed his commitment to effective representation, grassroots development, and inclusive governance.
He outlined his priority areas to include youth empowerment, women-focused initiatives, education support, and infrastructural development across the constituency.

Hon. Durojaiye pledged to provide people-oriented and transparent leadership driven by genuine service, stressing that Abeokuta North deserves purposeful and responsive representation.
He also called for unity among the various communities within the constituency, including Oke-Ọna, Gbágùrá, Òwu, and Oke-Ogun, noting that collective effort remains key to achieving sustainable development.
Among dignitaries at the event were Alhaji Shakirudeen Adenekan, Ward Chairman; Alhaja Bola Olabode; Hon. Isimot Olaleye; Hon. Waheed Adeosun, Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties; Mr. Taofeek Adedapo, Organising Secretary of APC in Abeokuta North; Mr. Saburi Olagbeji; Alhaji Shoetan; Mr. Iskilu Okedara, Ward 10 Chairman amongst others.

In their separate remarks, party leaders and stakeholders described the aspirant as competent and well-prepared for legislative duties, urging constituents to support his ambition ahead of the 2027 general elections.
